Golden Hills

Golden Hills is a late-flowering female pistachio cultivar originating from the crossing of two Pistacia vera parents. Golden Hills trees have an upright growth habit with a bark colour similar to Kerman. Golden Hills is more productive and presents a greater open fruit rate than Kerman. Flowering and harvest dates are ahead of Kerman. In addition, its requires less chill hours than Kerman. Fruit size is similar to Kerman. The pollinator used for the Golden Hills variety is Randy.
